McCormick HQ, USA

A truly bespoke brief captured the McCormick brand within this project, placing (12) rugs over seven floors within their new global headquarters at Hunt Valley, Maryland, USA.

Working closely with the Design Director and design team, the bay leaf with seed pod and swirl instigated the initial insight for the feature rug within the dramatic atrium space. This design inspiration held within a subtle grey base graded over eight hues and integrated further loop pile with tip sheared textures. Pops of orange and yellow enhanced the monochromatic palette, establishing the quality and colour theme for the design of the remaining rugs. Maintaining a canvas to integrate further design influences sourced from the spice tray, star anise and cinnamon stick – fundamental elements of the McCormick family.
